Our ribbon cutting and open house are behind us and we're open for business. Warrior Lodge is a no‑cost temporary lodging sanctuary for our guests who travel long distances for treatment. It was created for people like Thomas Kendrix of Crossett, AR, who for six weeks drove two hours each way, five days a week, for treatment at the Jones‑Dunklin Cancer Center.
Warrior Lodge is changing that journey for many cancer patients.
Watch this Fox16 News video to learn more about Mr. Kendrix’s story.

Warrior Lodge carries forward the legacy of Donna Terrell’s only daughter, Queah (Quay-ah), who
passed away on March 19, 2011, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
After her diagnosis, Queah became a voice for others – especially young people – determined to
show that colon cancer does not discriminate. She urged people to listen to their bodies and
advocate for their health. She shared her story publicly, including television interviews, in hopes
of helping others recognize the importance of early awareness. Even on her hardest days, her
light never dimmed. She lifted the spirits of those around her, including fellow patients, leaving
a lasting impact rooted in compassion, strength, and purpose.
Warrior Lodge exists because of Queah. She experienced the relief of no-cost lodging while
traveling for care and understood how meaningful that support can be. Today, that same
kindness is extended to every guest who walks through our doors.
She is the heartbeat of Warrior Lodge. Her spirit
is felt in every act of kindness, every moment of comfort, and every life we touched.

Donna Terrell Lambert, a news anchor and storyteller for FOX16 News in Little Rock, Arkansas, believes no one should be denied life‑saving cancer treatment simply because they live too far from care.
That belief inspired the vision for Warrior Lodge—a sanctuary where cancer patients and their families can find a restorative home away from home. By eliminating the burdens of travel and lodging, Warrior Lodge offers a tangible solution that allows patients to focus fully on treatment and healing.
The mission of Warrior Lodge is to remove the financial and logistical strain faced by out‑of‑town patients from the Arkansas Delta region, ensuring uninterrupted treatment at the Jones‑Dunklin Cancer Center and supporting better health outcomes.
We welcomed our first cancer guest on May 5, 2026, with many more to come, marking a new chapter of advocacy for southeast Arkansas.
